SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Pasir Ris
CARE Singapore was appointed as the Volunteer Centre of Pasir Ris in 2022. The SG Cares Volunteer Centres (VCs) are operated by community-based organisations that are responsible for building volunteer capacity, developing volunteer management capabilities, and fostering community partnerships to strengthen the towns’ effectiveness in meeting communities’ needs.
With a deep understanding of their towns and with the help of community partners and volunteers, the SG Cares VCs are able to effectively identify areas of need and channel resources to address them and plug the gaps.
All 24 towns in Singapore have an operational SG Cares VC to coordinate the development and deployment of volunteers and resources to meet community needs. This means Singaporeans have a plethora of opportunities to donate or volunteer for causes they are passionate about, enabled by the SG Cares Community Networks and SG Cares Volunteer Centres in every town.
Volunteer Recruitment Channels
Schools
As CARE establishes connections with other Social Service Agencies (SSAs) in Pasir Ris, we will be able to recruit volunteers from these organisations on the behalf of schools that are in need of student volunteers.
Corporate
CARE will be reaching out to corporate organisations for company volunteering, CSR projects and collaborations. Corporate organisations can also reach out to us to source similar opportunities.
General Public
Members of the general public can reach out to CARE for enquiries on volunteer opportunities. Should their interests and strengths better align with other causes, we can then refer them accordingly.

SG Cares VC @ Pasir Ris turns 1!
Our Impact
Since our appointment as the VC of Pasir Ris town, we have formed invaluable partnerships with a myriad of social service agencies, schools and corporates.
VC has helped to impact over 6000 service users, engaged over 700 volunteers and accumulated more than 3000 volunteer hours in the span of a year.
